Dr. Paul Matrullo
He opened his practice with the vision of giving his patients the stunning smiles they always wanted. To this day, Dr. Matrullo continues to provide the highest quality of general dentistry and cosmetic smile reconstruction.
Dr. Matrullo discovered his passion for dentistry in the beginning of high school when he began to discover his artistic talents and his curiosity in medicine. He received a B.S. is Biology from Providence College where combining his interests, he decided to pursue a career in dentistry. He followed his enthusiasm for the dental arts to New York University where he received his DDS degree, and later to Harvard University where he received his degree in implantology.
Making the best of his achievements and credentials, Dr. Matrullo finds giving back to the community a rewarding experience. He founded a child identification program in Cranston, Rhode Island, for which he was awarded a Citation from the city of Cranston. He is a former president of the Cranston Dental Society and a former Crusade Chairman of the American Cancer Society. In 1995, he founded the Paul J. Matrullo Scholarship at New York University for dedicated students who would otherwise be unable to afford dental school.
Dr. Matrullo is also an active member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, Rhode Island Dental Association, Cranston Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Society of Osseointegration- Diplomat and Fellow, New England Dental Society, New England Implant Study Group, American Academy of Advanced Oral Reconstruction, Sleep Disorder Dental Society, American Academy of the History of Dentistry, and Fellow to the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Joseph Paul Matrullo
Dr. Matrullo discovered his passion for dentistry as a young child by watching his role model at work- his father Paul. Joseph knew he wanted to experience for himself how it felt to make a difference in people’s lives. He graduated Valedictorian from Providence College with a B.S. degree in Biology, and attained his DMD degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was recognized by the International College of Dentists for professionalism and high clinical achievement.
He is an active member is the following organizations: American Dental Association, Rhode Island Dental Association, Cranston Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, World Clinical Laser Institute- Associate Fellow, Providence Plantations Study Club, Seattle Study Club, and Tufts University Alumni Association.
Dr. Matrullo uses some of the latest in dental technology, including digital radiography, intra-oral cameras, and dental lasers. He enjoys improving his patients’ smiles because it makes a positive impact on their self-confidence and overall health. Seeing how a new smile can light up a room is the most rewarding experience of being a dentist for Dr. Matrullo.
Dr. William R. Bebrin
Dr. Bebrin also pioneered the technique of using miniature temporary dental implants to assist in the orthodontic movement of teeth. Using these implants, he has been able to shorten the total treatment time of some cases by months, and in many cases eliminate the need for extractions, headgears, and elastics.
Dr. Bebrin received his DMD from the University of Connecticut, his DMSc from Harvard Medical School, and his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In addition to his doctorate degrees, he received the Dentist Scientist Award from the National Institute of Health.
